Judge others by their questions rather than by their answers.

Questions are at the heart of what we do here at Cap-a-Pie Associates. All of our Theatre-in Learning programmes are collaborative, dynamic and enquiry based.
We believe that programmes driven by research questions provide an invaluable opportunity for us and our education partners to contribute the development of contemporary debates around teaching and learning.
All of our enquiries focus on the ways that creative thinking and learning processes affect learners. It is this type of question that we find absorbing rather than questions as to how we can help learners get to a set answer, the right solution or an end product most quickly.
So, with our education partners we like to identify:
- What exactly do we want to find out?
- Who is best placed within the school community to help us explore the question?
- How can we best analyse what we have seen?
- What new questions have arisen from the research?
The continuous reflection built into our enquiry questions means that the new knowledge generated is always dynamic and responsive, relevant and meaningful to the education partners we work with.
If you’re interested considering these questions alongside us then contact us now to find out how we can collaborate on an Enquiry Based Creative Programme.
