OutSmart in Role is an exciting, engaging, challenging, risk-taking, fun programme that makes thinking visible.
These out-door active learning adventures combine Drama, Thinking Tools and P4C. They are structured to develop good thinking habits and dispositions in learners.
OutSmart in Role learners work in role within a dramatic fiction. This fictional context enables them to develop thoughtful techniques for working through a series of challenges that have been carefully designed to develop their problem solving abilities.
Learners are supported to assess and manage the risks associated with the various tasks that they take on, and challenged to consider the effects of their decisions.
These unique multi-sensory, out-door learning programmes provide the freedom to identify, analyse, discuss, reflect on and solve a range of problems that emerge from within the fiction.
